Bestie Baby Bumps

I can't begin to tell you how amazing it is to be pregnant with your best friends!  It truly is a fun experience!  I've been best friends with Ang and Jo for 18 years now--wow, that sounds crazy!  Each of us has been there for each other during our past pregnancies, but to know that this next generation of little ones will only be months apart (just like their mamas) is truly incredible! We are beyond thrilled and excited!

Bestie Baby Bumps--you can hardly tell that Ang and Jo are pregnant here, but I'm about ready to pop!

Joelle is due in August with a girl and Ang is due in June with a boy!

My Baby Shower

My mom, Angela, and Joelle decided to throw me a baby shower at Mimi's Cafe in Yorba Linda.  It was so much fun!  These ladies are so good to me.  They sure do know how to put on a creative and fun shower.  Thanks so much, Mom, Ang, and Jo--I love all of you so much and feel so blessed to have you in my life!

The beautiful cake my mom ordered from Frost My Cake!

For the shower favors, Ang decided to bake individualized berry pies.  They were adorable and oh-so delicious!  Unfortunately, my dear friend, Emily, couldn't make it to the shower.  However, she still wanted to help out.  She is super crafty and knows how obsessed I am with cute girl stuff.  Therefore, instead of a shower game, my guests made headbands for my baby girl!  I can't tell you adorable this idea is.  Now, I've got a huge collection of headbands for my little girl to wear all year round.  Thanks so much, Em!  I love you, girl.

My girls--Jo and Ang

Since we're all preggers, we attempted to take a belly shot.  Obviously, these girls have a lot more growing to do!

Here's one of the adorable headbands!

Love these girls!

It was so great to catch up with my best friend, Jamie!

My sis and mom.  Thanks, Mom, for throwing me a wonderful shower!

I was so glad that Miss. Ellie was able to attend.  She is such a doll and made tons of beautiful headbands for our baby girl!

Me and my mother-in-law (Alison).  Thanks so much for coming and helping out.

One of the most creative gifts I received was a package of personalized onesies!  This onesie is in reference to a Warren G. rap song, but the words have been changed to reflect Stroller Strides!  I love it, Oria.  Thanks so much, Mama!

My cousin Dakota and Tia.

My cousin Alexis and Tia Linda.

Some of my Stroller Strides gals - Oria, Raina, Anne, Brooke, Ali, Mindy, and Ang.  These moms are awesome and I feel so fortunate to have them in my life.  Love you, Mamas!

Shannon, Kim, and Holly.

There were lots of other gal pals that came out to my shower, but some left before pictures were taken.  Thanks so much, ladies, for coming to my shower and bringing all the beautiful gifts.  This little girl is already so loved and blessed.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Every Christmas Eve we get together with my aunts, uncles, and cousins.  This year my Tia Linda hosted.  We ate lots of yummy food, played fun games, and had a great time just hanging out together! Poor Logan had a fever on Christmas Eve, but he was such a happy boy anyway.

Here he is hanging out with one of his favorite people--Poppa!

During the evening, Santa showed up and surprised us all!  Logan was so excited to see him.

Immediately telling Santa what he would like for Christmas.

Logan opening his presents from his great aunts and great uncles.

Our annual Cousin picture.  I can't believe how big everyone is getting!

On Christmas morning Josh and I woke up before Logan.  Poor little guy woke up with a cold, but Daddy and Mommy were so excited to see his reactions to the Christmas presents that Santa brought.  After we opened gifts as a family, we headed over to my parents' house for our annual Christmas breakfast.  My mom made Josh's favorite dish--Chilequiles.  They were delicious!  After breakfast, we sat around and opened presents.  Logan sure got a lot goodies from his Poppa, Mimi, and Tia.  They sure do love our little guy!

Poppa got Logan a construction toy that he can sit on and scoop up dirt with.  He absolutely loved it!

Opening up all his gifts!

After opening presents, we were spent!  Poppa, Daddy, and Logan decided to relax and watch some TV.

Christmas Morning Videos.  My memory card ran out during the filming of Christmas morning (of course!), so we had to separate into two videos.  Enjoy!

Christmas lights in Brea

We have never gone to see the Christmas lights in Brea, so this year we decided to make a night of it with the Bridgfords.  We ate some dinner in downtown Brea, grabbed some hot chocolate from Starbucks, and headed over to view the Christmas lights!  They were absolutely amazing.  I can't believe how invested these neighborhoods are in putting on a beautiful light show!

It was absolutely freezing, so we had the kiddos bundled up in jackets and blankets.

Lillie and Logan insisted on sitting with one another, of course!  Logan was too busy enjoying his first ever hot chocolate to smile for the camera.

One of the houses had fake snow shooting out from a machine from its roof.  The kids had so much fun jumping around and playing in the "snow".

Christmas Celebration with Josh's Family

Every other year Josh's mom and step-dad take turns celebrating Christmas here and in Texas with Jim's daughter's family.  This year was they were in Texas for Christmas, so we got together to celebrate our Christmas as a family before they left.  We met in Oceanside at a yummy burger joint very close to Granddad's house.  Logan had an absolute blast hanging out with his cousins--Alex and Connor.  Oh how he loves them!

Granddad, the Hastys, Gina (Josh's cousin) and Bobby, the Caceres family, and us!

Logan was so busy playing with his toys that he didn't want to be disrupted for a picture.

Annual Christmas Party with Friends

For the past few years we've been getting together for an annual Christmas party with our large group of friends.  This year the Lewis' hosted in their new beautiful home!  It was lots of fun to get together and hang out among our friends.

There were many attempts to get a picture of all the kiddos looking at the camera.

This was probably one of the best!

Since there are so many kiddos, this year we decided to do a kids' gift exchange.  Logan loves the Cars movie, and especially Mater.  Thanks, Wyatt, for getting Logan a remote-controlled Mater truck!  Very cool gift!
