Logan's First Disneyland Trip!

Since Daddy took Monday off from work for our camping trip, we decided to take Logan to Disneyland for the first time, instead.  It was such a great decision because we all had the best day together!  Initially we thought we would come home so Logan could nap, but since we were all having too much fun, we decided to push on through.  I'm so glad we did because we would have missed out on a few hours' worth of fun.  Here's some pictures of our fun-filled day at Disneyland!

Logan's first ride was the carousel, and he loved it!

Riding on Dumbo with Mommy and Daddy.

While we were in ToonTown, we ran into Goofy.  Logan was so excited!

Logan kept saying, "Goofy!", "Hi, Goofy!"

We absolutely had to go to Mickey's House so that Logan could meet his absolute favorite character, Mickey Mouse.  Logan was so enthralled by Mickey Mouse.  In fact, we couldn't get a picture of Logan looking into the camera because he wouldn't take his eyes off of Mickey Mouse!

Grandma couldn't make it to Disneyland with us, but she made sure we got Logan his first set of Mickey Mouse Ears.  Thanks, Grandma!

Logan was so happy, when later in the day Ellie and Lillie met up with us!  Here's Josh riding the Teacups with Ellie and Logan.

As soon as we got in the car, this kid passed out.  He had a fun-filled day but was completely pooped from partyin' at Disneyland all day.

Our 2nd Annual Camping Trip!

For our 2nd Annual Family Camping Trip we decided to head back to Serrano Campground in Big Bear.  It's local enough for the kiddos to last the drive in the car, and it's beautiful!  This year we had six different families gather at the campgrounds.  Although camping can involve some work, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip.  We had a blast lounging by the lake, hiking, and enjoying s'mores by the campfire together! Thank you so much--Matt, Roger, and Beth Cooper--for not only allowing us to use your trailer, but for towing it for us as well!  You guys are such a thoughtful family.

Trever grabbed his Daddy's fishing pole and decided to try and catch something himself.  Too cute!

Our "cool" beach day!

Since Logan is absolutely obsessed with bikes, he thought that riding around the campground on this bike with Daddy was the coolest thing ever!

Stroller Strides Grand Re-Opening

As most of you know, I am a Stroller Strides fitness instructor.  Stroller Strides is a program that allows for moms to work out with their strollers while pushing their kiddos around.  The workouts include cardio, strength training, and abs.  If you've been to a Stroller Strides workout, you know it's a great challenging workout!

Last July I was certified as a Stroller Strides and Fit4Baby instructor.  I've had the most fun being an instructor!  I get to workout with awesome moms and bring Logan with me.  It's a dream come true.  Recently, our owner, Allison Clewett, decided to sell the franchise.  Angela and I viewed this as an amazing opportunity, so we jumped on it!  As of July 1, 2012, Ang and I became the new owners of the Stroller Strides of North Orange County franchise!  We are so excited to enter this new chapter in our friendship and to be riding this roller coaster of a journey together.

At the beginning of August we decided to host a Grand Re-Opening event for our moms.  We invited everyone out for a free class and provided food and entertainment afterwards.  Angela taught the class and did an amazing job!  We had such a blast and were so thankful that over 40 moms and their kiddos came out to support and celebrate with us.  Thanks so much everyone.

Logan's 2nd Birthday Party - Part 2

Since Logan is absolutely obsessed with Mickey Mouse, we decided to make it the theme of his 2nd birthday party.  This year we hosted the party at our house.  We invited our family and a few of our closest friends.  The kids had a great time splashing around in the whale blow-up pool and jumping around in the bounce house (Thanks, Bridgford family, for letting us borrow it)!  Thanks to everyone who made food (Mom, Alison, and Pete), and who helped set-up, take-down everything.  We couldn't do it without you guys!

The yummy cupcakes my mother-in-law made. Thanks again, Alison.

Logan loved all his gifts, but since he's obsessed with all sorts of bikes, he was beyond happy and excited about the new Radio Flyer bike that Tia got him.

Logan's ACTUAL 2nd Birthday Celebration

On Logan's actual birthday, we had a day and evening filled with tons of fun!  Since his birthday fell on a Monday, we headed to Kindergym in the morning where he got to laugh, play, and sing with his friends.  After class, we headed over to Birch Street in Brea so that he, Jillian, Ellie, and Lillie could all play in the water fountains.  Once the kiddos had burned off some energy, we walked over to Farrell's and enjoyed lunch and ice cream treats together.  Later that evening, Daddy came home with Logan's presents and he had a blast playing with them.  Josh, Logan, and I all went to a yummy, relaxing dinner and celebrated with some Birthday ice cream.  It was an awesome day!  Thanks to everyone who made it special for Lo.
