BridgMurAnda Christmas Party

Every year we get together with our besties--the Bridgfords and the Penarandas--for our annual Christmas party.  This year the Penarandas hosted and since they live in Solana Beach, we all made a weekend of it and headed down to their place for lots of fun!  It seems like every year our families grow, and next year will be no different!  Not only am I pregnant, but my two besties--Angela and Joelle--are also pregnant!  I can't believe how amazing this next year is going to be.  You always dream of being pregnant with your best friends, but it seems like just that--a dream.  To add to the excitement even more, we've all found out that we're expecting girls!  Can you imagine three little girls?!  It's going to truly be amazing.  Next year when we get together for Christmas we will have seven kiddos, six of which are girls!  Logan is going to be one lucky little man!

These two crack us up!  They love to play with each other as well as torment one another.  It's quite a sight to see.

Our family of three...soon to be four!

All of our families posing by the Christmas tree.  I love these people so much!

My girls, and all of us with our "girls" in our bellies!  I'm due in February, Ang is due in June, and Joelle is due in August.  It's going to be a fun-filled year!

Every year our talented Auntie Ang makes Christmas pajamas for the kiddos.  Here are Logan and Kalea modeling their pair.  Thanks, Auntie Ang.  This Christmas tradition is so special to us!

Family Pictures

For our family pictures this year we decided to go with Angela's sister, Andrea, of Andrea Gene Photography.  She is a great photographer with lots of patience for the little ones!  Picture day always seems to be so stressful, so it's nice to have a photographer with patience who can capture the special moments on a crazy day!  I love these pictures and can't believe how big our little Lo-Jo is getting.  Thanks again, Andrea!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we hosted Josh's family at our house.  We made the turkey and everyone else brought the sides, desserts, and drinks.  We had a great time visiting one another.  Afterwards, Josh, Logan, and I headed over to my parents' house for another Thanksgiving feast.  By the end of the day, we were stuffed and exhausted--the perfect end to Turkey Day!

Josh, his Granddad, and Logan.  We don't get to see Granddad as often as we'd like, so it was a real treat to have him over for Thanksgiving.

Me and my Mother-in-Law.  I don't know what I'd do without this woman!  She is such a huge help to me, Josh, and Logan.  We are so grateful to have her in our lives.

Hanging out with his Tia and cousins at my parents' house.  As you can see, everyone is wiped out from the delicious meal.

Halloween!

Ever since Logan was a baby (3 months old), we've carved pumpkins.  Last year he was sick and wasn't really into it, but this year he was able to get "down and dirty" with us.  Here are some pictures of us cleaning out the pumpkin, and our finished product (which is supposed to be three ghosts).

I can't tell you how much I love Halloween, especially now that Logan is at a fun age to enjoy all the fun, too!  This year we decided to dress him up as Bamm-Bamm from the Flinstone's, and Lillie was his Pebbles.  It was adorable!  On Halloween morning, I was scheduled to teach Stroller Strides, so we headed to the park to participate in a fun Halloween-themed workout!

Here's our little Bamm-Bamm.

One of our Stroller Strides' friends--Morgan--was dressed as Pebbles, so we had to snap a shot of her with Logan.  Too cute!

After class we had a Costume Parade.

Then the kiddos walked around for some stroller trick-or-treating!

Very excited about his loot!

Logan with one of his best pals, J-bug (a.k.a. Cinderella).

Trying to snap a photo of Logan and his football buddy, Trever, was a little difficult, but here they are.

Mommy dressed up as a cat to teach class!

Here's an attempt at a group shot of all the kiddos.

This is such a cute picture because the boys are so distracted.  Logan is into his bubbles, and Trever is struggling to hold up his football (brother Connor).

After nap time, we headed to the Yorba Linda Friends Fall Festival.  It's so much fun because they have horseback rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, games, and so much more!  Logan had a lot of fun on his horse ride!

After dinner, we met up with the Bridgfords to do some trick-or-treating in our neighborhood.  Bamm-Bamm finally got to meet up with his Pebbles.  Of course, right away the two of them wanted to show off their clubs!

Here's a picture of the two of them smiling!

Our group shot--the Bridgfords and Murtys.  We always have so much fun with this family, but Halloween is extra special!

Apple Picking

Last year we went apple, pear, and pumpkin picking at Riley's Farm in Oak Glen.  This year we decided to continue the tradition and open it up to our Stroller Strides' families.  This year Daddy was able to join us, too!  We had such a blast picking all the fruit, and Logan especially liked sampling it all!  Riley's Farm is such a beautiful place. I'm so glad we were able to share the fun with our Stroller Strides' friends!

Me and my sweet lil' man!

Daddy and Logan picking apples

This year Logan got to actually select the fruit from the trees.  It was a lot of fun!

Lillie and Logan enjoying their collection of apples.

Technically we weren't supposed to eat the fruit while we were there, but Logan had a different agenda.

We were able to spend time with Ang and her extended family. Such a fun group of people!

I had to tickle this little one to get him to smile.

Look how beautiful all the flowers are.
