Family Time at the Park

We don't get to do it as often as we'd like, but when we get the opportunity, we love taking the dogs to the park for some fun family time. Josh throws the ball around for the dogs in hopes to exhaust all of Bella's energy, and Lo and I hang out and watch. We're so fortunate to have such a peaceful, little park in our neighborhood.

Mohawk & Army-Crawling

A few people have asked me if I've cut Logan's hair to be a mohawk. No, I haven't, his hair has just naturally grown in that way. Josh and I are still trying to figure out whose hair texture he has because when I was younger, my hair had a little wave in it, and when Josh was younger, his hair was curly. Logan's hair is super straight, but it has grown in looking like a mohawk! On Saturday, Josh decided to style Lo's hair. I must say, I never thought a mohawk could look so cute!

Lo Army-Crawling (Please don't mind our half-eaten walls--thanks to our lab, Bella. Ahh, the joys of owning a lab puppy! )

Irvine Park

Last Friday, Stroller Strides had a playgroup at Irvine Park. Well Ang and I knew we weren't going to quite make it in time to meet up with the rest of the Stroller Strides' crew, but we decided to take the kiddos anyway. I'm so glad we did because we had a great time! I was so excited when we pulled up to the parking lot of Irvine Park as this was Lo's first time on a train and seeing ponies! Honestly, I felt like a kid again and it just made me realize how magical it is that we get to re-live our youth through our children.

Lo's very first train ride! These two--Logan and Lillie--really are the sweetest thing! They get so excited when they see each other. They touch each other's faces and Lillie always gives Lo a little smooch.

Um, Logan is one lucky guy! Here he's getting a kiss from both Bridgford girls--Ellie and Lillie!
Once the train ride started, Logan was so interested in all of his surroundings--the sights and sounds.
I love this child!
Unfortunately, Logan has to be a year old before he can officially experience the pony ride, but we had tons of fun watching the girls take turns riding the pony!
These face cut-outs are so fun!
One of the things the park had is a bounce-house. Obviously, Lo is a bit too small to enjoy that activity, so instead he was very content sitting on his blanket and playing with the grass while we waited for El-Bell to jump.
This picture of the three of them is just too cute!
It honestly is ridiculous how much fun these silly face cut-outs are when you have kids! ;)

Hangin' with Family

We don't get to see Josh's sister's family as much as we'd like, so it was a lot of fun when we all got together for dinner. Logan's Auntie Brooke, Uncle Ken, and cousins Alex and Connor haven't seen Lo since Christmas, so they were shocked at how much he's grown since then. We hung out for awhile at our house and then went to dinner at El Torito. We had yummy food and fun company, so the night was a success!

I just love him in this hat!

This picture is so stinkin' cute!

Dowdee BBQ

Recently the Dowdees had a group of us over for a BBQ! It started out great and got a little rough around Lo's naptime, but once he fell asleep and Mommy was able to enjoy a glass of wine, all was right in the world. Overall, we had a great time visiting with friends and babies, and eating yummy food. Thanks, Dowdee fam, for having us all over!

Lo playing with Auntie Jamie In these pictures, Logan is trying to hold Trever's hand! It was so adorable! Logan is only four months older than Trever. It was cute to watch Lo touch Trever's face and try and play with him. It's going to be so much fun watching these two boys grow up and play with each other!

Happy 8 months, Logan!

Wow, I can't believe Logan is already 8 months old! We have been having so much fun! Logan can do so many things now and it's so magical to watch him learn new things. For a while, Lo was moving around by rolling everywhere. Now, he is doing this sort of army crawl. He gets around much faster, and of course, goes after things he isn't supposed to have. Therefore, we've officially had to start baby-proofing things around the house. The good thing is that he still is easily distracted. For example, if I take something away that he's not supposed to have he'll fuss for a second but then I distract him with something different, and he completely forgets about the first thing. Let's just say that we're enjoying this phase for as long as it lasts! Aside from moving around, Lo officially got his first tooth at 7 months. Now he has two teeth! Lastly, we are trying to teach Lo tricks. As of now, he can give a high-five and it's the cutest thing! We are having such an amazing time with our lil' guy and can't wait for what he's going to do next!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
On St. Patrick's Day we went to Tri-City Park for Stroller Strides. I had a great workout and then all the kiddos played afterwards. We had such a blast! Lo had a great time playing with his friends--Jillian and Lillie--and swinging.
Lillie loves to pat Logan's head; it is hilarious!
Jillian looks so adorable in her green St. Patrick's Day sunnies!
We don't know why but Logan absolutely loves to grab his ears! It's the funniest thing.
I tried and tried to get a picture of him wearing these sunglasses, but it just wasn't going to happen.

Lo is absolutely obsessed with water bottles!
Here he is giving me a high-five!

I love this picture!

Jack's 1st Birthday
My friend, Vanessa, had her son, Jack, four months before Logan was born. He turned one on St. Patrick's Day! We had a blast going to his party and hanging out with everyone. It has been so fun watching Jack grow this year knowing that Logan is only four months behind him.
Vanessa, me, and our little men--Lo and Jack!

Lo hangin' with Auntie Steph

Daddy is always trying to get Lo to move to the next phase--standing and walking!

Lo's first tooth!
All of a sudden there it was--Logan's first tooth! It's a little difficult to see it in this picture as I took it when it was first coming in, but it's the little white bump on the bottom left-side of his mouth. Now, he has two teeth and they're much more pronounced. It's so cute to see his little smile with his pearly whites poking out!

Hangin' with Family & Friends

Here we all are visiting Auntie Jo in her beautiful new home in Solana Beach. Joelle is pregnant and due in June with a little girl, Kalea. I just love that name! We had so much fun hanging out and going to lunch. We love Auntie Jo so much and wish we could see her more often.

Um, can you say ADORABLE?

Here's Logan getting his first kiss from his girlfriend, Lillie! He's one lucky guy.

At breakfast in Seal Beach with Mimi, Papa and Tia. My mom loves this little boutique called Baby Boomers in Seal Beach. They have the cutest clothes! We met up with my family in Seal Beach for breakfast and shopping. We had a great time! Thanks, Mimi, for all of the cute clothes.

Logan loves his Papa. My dad can always get Logan to laugh and giggle; it's the sweetest thing.

Hangin' with Tia
Here's Logan with his great-grandma, Olgui. Logan is my grandma's only great-grandson, and she loves him so much.

I absolutely love this picture! My grandma mostly speaks Spanish and some broken English, so this picture cracks me up because Logan is so puzzled by what she is saying yet so interested at the same time.

Happy 7 months, buddy!
