Happy 8 months, Logan!

Wow, I can't believe Logan is already 8 months old! We have been having so much fun! Logan can do so many things now and it's so magical to watch him learn new things. For a while, Lo was moving around by rolling everywhere. Now, he is doing this sort of army crawl. He gets around much faster, and of course, goes after things he isn't supposed to have. Therefore, we've officially had to start baby-proofing things around the house. The good thing is that he still is easily distracted. For example, if I take something away that he's not supposed to have he'll fuss for a second but then I distract him with something different, and he completely forgets about the first thing. Let's just say that we're enjoying this phase for as long as it lasts! Aside from moving around, Lo officially got his first tooth at 7 months. Now he has two teeth! Lastly, we are trying to teach Lo tricks. As of now, he can give a high-five and it's the cutest thing! We are having such an amazing time with our lil' guy and can't wait for what he's going to do next!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
On St. Patrick's Day we went to Tri-City Park for Stroller Strides. I had a great workout and then all the kiddos played afterwards. We had such a blast! Lo had a great time playing with his friends--Jillian and Lillie--and swinging.
Lillie loves to pat Logan's head; it is hilarious!
Jillian looks so adorable in her green St. Patrick's Day sunnies!
We don't know why but Logan absolutely loves to grab his ears! It's the funniest thing.
I tried and tried to get a picture of him wearing these sunglasses, but it just wasn't going to happen.

Lo is absolutely obsessed with water bottles!
Here he is giving me a high-five!

I love this picture!

Jack's 1st Birthday
My friend, Vanessa, had her son, Jack, four months before Logan was born. He turned one on St. Patrick's Day! We had a blast going to his party and hanging out with everyone. It has been so fun watching Jack grow this year knowing that Logan is only four months behind him.
Vanessa, me, and our little men--Lo and Jack!

Daddy is always trying to get Lo to move to the next phase--standing and walking!

Lo's first tooth!
All of a sudden there it was--Logan's first tooth! It's a little difficult to see it in this picture as I took it when it was first coming in, but it's the little white bump on the bottom left-side of his mouth. Now, he has two teeth and they're much more pronounced. It's so cute to see his little smile with his pearly whites poking out!

Hangin' with Family & Friends

Here we all are visiting Auntie Jo in her beautiful new home in Solana Beach. Joelle is pregnant and due in June with a little girl, Kalea. I just love that name! We had so much fun hanging out and going to lunch. We love Auntie Jo so much and wish we could see her more often.

Um, can you say ADORABLE?

Here's Logan getting his first kiss from his girlfriend, Lillie! He's one lucky guy.

At breakfast in Seal Beach with Mimi, Papa and Tia. My mom loves this little boutique called Baby Boomers in Seal Beach. They have the cutest clothes! We met up with my family in Seal Beach for breakfast and shopping. We had a great time! Thanks, Mimi, for all of the cute clothes.

Logan loves his Papa. My dad can always get Logan to laugh and giggle; it's the sweetest thing.

Hangin' with Tia
Here's Logan with his great-grandma, Olgui. Logan is my grandma's only great-grandson, and she loves him so much.

I absolutely love this picture! My grandma mostly speaks Spanish and some broken English, so this picture cracks me up because Logan is so puzzled by what she is saying yet so interested at the same time.

Happy 7 months, buddy!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I can't believe it's February already! Time is going by so quickly, and our little guy is growing up so fast. Logan is almost seven months old. I absolutely love this age! He is so much fun! We keep busy during the week by going to Stroller Strides so I can work out and Lo can socialize. Okay, so I socialize too! We also try to get together with friends as much as possible for playdates. The weekends just seem to fly by with the three of us hangin' out together or visiting with family and friends. Take a look at what we've been doing over the past month.
Logan's 6-month photo shoot
For Logan's 6-month pictures, we decided to go to Picture People in the Brea Mall. At the last minute, I told Josh that I wanted us to take some family portraits as well. Boy, am I gald that I did because they did such a fabulous job! Toward the end of the shoot Lo was getting tired, but our photographer was awesome. In fact, she was so pleased with the photos herself that she asked us to sign a model-release form. That's right, our little guys' a model!

If you're interested in viewing more of Lo's shoot or in ordering some photos of your own, please visit the following site: http://www.picturepeople.com/sso/publishconfirm.sso?data=u7igIq6K95plCFdAhpGsT2s0qOvPssH42LQudStPs2urd2tbsdev5HiLuK%2fI1U3IqVqa20SyNkqsMpl6p0B%2f%2bg%3d%3d

Hangin' with Mr. Lo
Here are some pictures of Logan just hangin' out. Anytime I'm feeding Logan and he hears his Daddy's voice, he tries to turn around and find him. It's pretty funny to watch him lean as far back as he can.

Here's Logan on our way to the park to walk the dogs.

Daddy is always trying to get Logan to walk. I keep reminding him that when Lo does walk, Daddy will be on non-stop duty!

Logan with his great-granddad, John, and his great-grandma, Maria.

Mimi got Logan a walker, so he loves to cruise around the house in it! Why is everyone in such a hurry to get this child to walk? Don't they know how much work they're setting me up for? ;)

Playdates
Although these pictures are taken from 2-3 months ago, I couldn't help sharing them. Logan and I love to get together with our friends and have playdates!
Logan's first--but not last--time being told what to do by a girl!

We weren't sure if Jack was giving Lo a kiss or if he was trying to eat him. Either way, it's adorable!

Lo and I with our friends Vanessa, Jack, Samiya, and Norah. I used to work at Whittier High School with these two ladies. Now we get together for playdates!

Christmas & New Year's Eve!

Celebrating an Early Christmas
Typically, on Christmas Day we go to my parents' house for breakfast and then to Josh's grandparents' house for an Italian dinner. However, this year Logan's grandma was going to be out of town for Christmas, so the family met up for lunch the week of Christmas to celebrate and exchange gifts! Logan and his cousin, Alex.
Hangin' with Daddy on his lunch break.

Grandma knows how much Daddy likes the Lakers, so she got Logan these adorable Lakers' onesies.

Logan got a fun toy and lots of clothes from his Auntie Brooke.

Christmas Eve
Every year for Christmas Eve my mom's side of the family goes to my Tia's house. We always have so much fun eating dinner, playing games, watching movies & opening presents! This year was fun too, but we had to leave a little early to get Lo down for bedtime. Logan got so many cute things from his Mimi, Great-Grandma, Great-Uncle & Great-Aunts. Nana & Papa got this adorable outfit for Logan. His bottom reads, "Logan's First Christmas".

Christmas
This year for Christmas we woke up and our family of three opened presents at our home. Afterwards, we went to Mimi and Papa's house for some yummy breakfast. My mom made a traditional Venezuelian breakfast dish--arepas. Since we weren't going to Josh's grandparents' house for dinner, we went back over to my parents' house for a delicious Bolognese meal.

And Lo's favorite gift of all...wrapping paper!

Logan got this comfy chair from Nana and Papa.

Can you believe that all of these presents are for Logan? And these are just the gifts from Mimi, Papa and Tia!

My mom got Logan this dinosaur toy and he just fell in love with it's face!

Merry Christmas!

Every year Auntie Angela makes Christmas pajamas for her family. This year she had some extra material and made some Christmas pajamas for Logan! Thanks, Auntie Ang!

Happy 5-month, sweetheart!

New Year's Eve
This year we went over to the Dowdee home for a yummy dinner and wine party! It was delicious, a lot of fun and kid-friendly. The adults were able to eat, drink and be merry while the babies were asleep in the other room. Thanks guys for hosting the party! Josh, Jared & Ryan--the 3 amigos!
